Ann understands old houses! She lives in a 1912 Colonial Revival and owns a circa 1886 five unit Victorian,both which continue to be fine tuned on the exterior and the interior to bring them into the future. Consultations with old house lovers who take pleasure in slowly restoring their own homes begin the process of working with clients. From collaborating with architects and contractors to maintain the best of old house charm, character and uniqueness, Ann leads clients through a process that simplifies the restoration of an old house. Redesigning the interiors of an entire house or just one room are projects Ann assists clients with . She instinctively knows what not to do to an old house so as not to compromise its integrity and to create an inviting new space.
Membership in the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Historic New England and association with the Massachusetts Historical Commission and Historic Massachusetts, Inc. expands her preservation knowledge and expertise through their professional improvement seminars.
Travels throughout the United States,Iceland and Europe have taken her to design centers,museums and historic homes to study interior design and historic preservation.
Projects include reproduction and restoration of historic draperies and bed hangings in the Molly Brown House and the Governor's Mansion in Denver and historical societies.

Awards & Publications
Ann has partnered with Historic New England to showcase their reproduction furniture, fabrics, wallcovering, carpets and accessories in the Boston Junior League Decorator Showhouse on Arlington Street in 1997 and Designer Vignettes at the New England Spring Flower Shows in 1998 and 1999. Her proposal to the Danvers Historical Society event:"Reflecting on Danvers History Through Interior Design", held in July 2010 again showcased Historic New England furniture combined with antiques,handcrafted heirloom quality reproduction furniture, fabrics and custom lamps she designed which were inspired by Samuel McIntire finials in the Society's archives.
She has authored "Architectural Jewels" to publish her research on the history of historic homes in North Attleborough,MA. and has written a series of "Surroundings" articles on interior design in 1999 for the Sun Chronicle,the North Attleborough daily newspaper.
Ann has been a long time member and chairperson of the North Attleborough Historical Commission. She saw a need and created "Old House Lovers" , a support group for people restoring historic homes in the North Attleborough area in the 1980's.
