She has completed interior design and decorating projects, residential and commercial, in Boston and surrounding communities, as well as in the lakes region of Maine.

She has an expertise in color and space planning, as well as cabinetry and furniture design. She is a graduate of the New England School of Art and Design and Suffolk University, and is certified by the National Council of Interior Design Qualification.

"My approach to the design process begins with the aesthetic and functional needs of the client. Having an education in design and in fine arts, I am able to create and convey ideas and concepts on paper. A three-dimensional understanding of space is critical for success. My clients inspire my ideas. I ask many questions and I listen carefully. I create space that is a reflection of them. It is a wonderful and rewarding process."

Services Offered

This Living Room was inspired by the home-owners’ request for a cozy space for her small children as well as a sophisticated space for entertaining friends and family.

The textured teal and toffee fabrics are cotton-poly blends for durability, as is the sisal-patterned area rug. Fun “Fable and “Big Kitty” pillow fabrics are a nod to the kids. The crackle-finish gourd lamp is a resized and rewired “hand-me-down” from the grandparents’ home.

The wall-to-wall built-in cabinetry, custom-designed by Jeanne is a needed architectural element, and more importantly, gives lots of storage space for books, games and an existing 42” flat panel TV. Lower cabinets
have an inset panel of copper mesh adding interest and openness to the 240 sq. foot living space.

A modern painting by a local Boston artist is a perfect finishing touch.
