With more than 20 years experience in the building and design industries, Linda Revell founded her design firm, Interior Concepts in 1987. She is an Allied Member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers). Her hometown clients tend to concentrate in Boston, its Metrowest Area as well as Cape Cod, and she has done projects in Florida, Kiawah Island, South Carolina, New Hampshire and Maine.

My Design Philosophy:

At its best, home is a peaceful and restful place, a refuge, a haven. It’s your escape from the world…where you rejuvenate and re-energize. And each person has his or her own version of how to make this vision a reality

So, to bring this vision to life, individuals begin with a room, a renovation, or a new house…each one like a blank canvas awaiting decisions on color, materials, architectural details and furniture. It becomes very important to make the “right” choices to create that unique interpretation of home. But the average person’s actual experience in creating environments from beginning to finish is minimal. The process becomes difficult and the possibility of making costly “mistakes” is real.

Interior Concepts answers this dilemma by offering a design approach that encompasses all phases of a project from architect/builder consultation to accessorizing the finished, furnished home. Through all of this, the guiding principle is that the client’s vision is created. This is accomplished through a distinctive mix of Linda Revell’s design talent, the intuitive professional rapport she develops with each client, and her years of experience in the building and design industries.

Services Offered

Contractors, who want to build houses that aesthetically appeal to potential buyers, hire Linda in the pre-building phase to select pleasing colors and a plan for the building materials that flow through the home. This might include stone, tile and fixtures for the kitchen and bath, appliances, lighting, hardware and flooring options. If the house sells while being built, Linda then works with the buyers to facilitate these decisions, avoiding costly delays on the project.

Residential clients can also hire Linda from the beginning of a building/renovation/redesign project or bring her in at any point. Once the building basics are accomplished, Linda proceeds to furniture/floor plan decisions, paint colors, finishes and fabric selection. Through a mix of design skills, enthusiasm, insight, and collaboration, she successfully completes her clients’ projects, earns their trust and develops continuing relationships.
