ERS Design is a custom residential and commercial interior design firm founded in 1985 by award winning designer Elizabeth R. Swartz, ASID. Committed to professional excellence, we offer design services for a broad range of projects including new construction, renovations and remodeling, all with the primary focus of reflecting our clients’ personal tastes and objectives. With offices in Boston and Vermont, ERS has completed projects in New England, New York and the Southeast.

ERS Design focuses on each project as a unique design opportunity without any preconceived notions. We work to understand our client’s vision for their spaces and provide personalized interior design services throughout the project to make that vision a reality. This collaboration results in unique spaces so our clients know decisions were made with them, not for them.

With great attention to detail, our services encompass every aspect of the project including the initial planning stages, drawings and specifications, oversight of specialized trades, and selection and/or design of furniture and furnishings. ERS works closely with architects, project managers and owners on both new construction and historic properties and has established relationships with contractors, sub-contractors, cabinet makers, craftspeople, workrooms, artisans and suppliers.

Our billing structure is based on a combination of hourly and percentage based fees.
